I try to use my own experience/s as a mixed race, working class, woman with chronic illness as a resource for my teaching, scholarly research, writing and activism. At the same time, I try to remain as transparent and open to not knowing as possible, hoping to be both intellectually rigorous and at the same time vulnerable.
